Groups For Young People

CRIB

The CRIB provides peer support to young people affected and infected with HIV between the age of 10 and 18 years and who are living in south London. The group is held once per month on a Saturday from 11am to 4pm from the Brixton site

The Reach

The Reach provides a peer support service for young people affected and infected with HIV between the ages of 10 and 18 years and who live in South London. The group operates once per month on a Friday evening from 4.30pm to 8.30pm from the Wandsworth site.

Membership to CRIB and The Reach is subject to the young person being aware of HIV in the family. Young people have a safe place to discus issues openly with other liked minded young people with activities tailored according to the need of the young people that attend. The emphasis on the group is learning through fun and enjoyment. Young people are given the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities, workshops, conferences, residentials and consultations to help build self esteem and confidence.
